Maschio Gaspardo
Maschio Gaspardo is a multinational company specializing in the design and manufacture of technologically advanced agricultural equipment. The company operates internationally and manages an extremely extensive product catalog, tailored to numerous markets and characterized by a wide variety of technical configurations.
To support this complexity and improve the efficiency of digital processes, Maschio Gaspardo has adopted several digital solutions from Cosmobile, including Categora, with the goal of optimizing product catalog management, simplifying the management of B2B price lists, and improving the performance of the digital ecosystem. The project has also enabled the automation of commercial quote configuration and the generation of catalogs and technical documentation in PDF format.
Maschio Gaspardo’s Necessity
The company needed a platform that would allow various internal and external stakeholders—dealers, sales representatives, technicians, and operators—to view and manage a particularly complex product catalog.
The catalog includes thousands of products with extensive technical data, configurations, and relationships between machines, variants, and accessories. Furthermore, it had to be managed consistently across multiple international markets: presence in 18 countries, support for 14 languages, and management of multiple currencies.
Another key requirement was the automation of editorial processes related to the production of catalogs and technical documents, reducing manual work and the risk of errors.
Categora PIM for B2B Catalog and Price List Management
To address these needs, the Categora PIM was implemented: a platform that centralizes the management of product catalogs and B2B price lists.
Through the PIM, all product-related information is managed in a single environment and made available on the Magento platform, with user access integrated into the company’s systems.
This approach has enabled the efficient structuring and management of a catalog comprising over 6,500 products, ensuring consistency and rapid updates across all digital channels

Automation of Catalog Layout
Another key element of the project was the introduction of an automated layout system for catalogs and PDF documents, based on data from the PIM.
Product data sheets are automatically generated with custom layouts, including cross-reference tables for variants, components, and accessories. This process also enables the automated production of multilingual public catalogs.
